The founding member is Mr Darshan Singh Purain, a graduate in Law from the National University of Singapore,who was called to the Singapore Bar in 1980 and practised with the law firm of Donaldson & Burkinshaw. In 1983, he established the firm Darshan & Partners. He has gained many years of experience in civil litigation and corporate advisory particularly to SME's. He has played a key role in the firm's development in international work and has associated the firm with many overseas firms, particularly in the area of receivables management. He is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law. He is also the legal adviser and honoree member of the Singapore Pest Management Association and offer consultancy to companies in the field.

He is proficient in various languages and covers the firm India desk by corporate advice to NRI's and Indian companies seeking establishment in Singapore.

He sits on the board of several companies and offers advises to the Pest Control Industry via his affiliation over 20 years.

MR. MICHAEL TEO SWEE ENG

Mr. Michael Teo Swee Eng, who graduated from the University of Singapore in 1967. Thereafter for several years he was in the Singapore Police Force as a Senior Gazetted Officer. He then spent several years in two large private commercial companies as a Personnel Administrative Manager responsible for all personnel and human resource functions including industrial relations. Returned to practice law in 1976 at Murphy & Dunbar and then Sukumar & Teo. In 1981 he commenced practice on his own until 30th July 1998. His firm, Michael S.E. Teo, merged with Darshan & Parners to form M/s Darshan & Teo on 1st July 1998 whom he is now a consultant. He is a Member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law

MS. AVTAR KAUR

Ms Avtar Kaur was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1981 and subsequent obtained her master in Law (Land Law) from the SGM University, chambered and practiced previously with the law firm of Braddell Brothers/Shook Lin & Bok. She joined New India Insurance Company as a Legal Officer in 1981. In 1981, she joined the Statutory Board, Housing and Development Board (HDB) and was an Executive Legal Officer until 1990. In 1991, she was a part-time Lecturer with the National University of Singapore, Singapore Institute of Purchasing & Materials Management and Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She joined M/s Darshan & Partners in 1992 and continued with the present firm. Ms Kaur is a Member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
